randomly/u guess lah : danok/hatyai border town with bukit kayu hitam, chumpon cny nite food fest, huahin train station (one of my fav train station in the world), huahin beach (so out of this world), dawn/sunrise on the way to bkk frm huahin (should b around kanchanaburi), tv antaennas spruting on top of roofs in a town on the way to bkk, a special suite in a hotel room in our funky boutique hotel in bkk, people savouring goodfood of a very very veyr famous stall in a soi off charoen krung
This was a short trip which was carried out a few days after the first day of CNY 2008. Upiq, the captain of this blog has requested me to post something about it.
I dunno, but all these were a result from our determination of not allowing the politics which affected the high fuel prices which affected the high airfares to get in our way. Errr, apart from my own procrastination that is.

Express Bus 0 tickets which we were holding dated on the 12th were actually, according to the Ipoh proprietor’s standard were meant for the 13th. This means that we should have gotten the 11th January tickets for the 12th departure. Peculiar isn’t it. These Ipoh-Had Yai operators have a peculiar way of dating their midnight departure tickets . I thought whatever happens after 12 midnight falls on the next day. More so peculiar was we were not a bit furious. A good start to the New Year I guess. The busses, including those of other companies were full to the max preventing us from getting a seat thus resorted to, ‘make up the route instantaneously’.
Note : In Ipoh, Had Yai bound busses were to be boarded at shops in the city, away and completely isolated from the main terminals of Medan Gopeng or Medan Kidd thus do not give the passengers much convenience should there be a hiccup.
