Jalan-Jalan Cari Makan 5... Final Episode..

After a good nite sleep, i woke up with my mind wandering once again on where to have breakfast. We didnt have much time to spend cos we'd to leave before 11am in order to provide enough time for my wife to catch a plane at 6pm in KLIA. Thus, there was no way that i could have lunch in Penang or risk my wife missing the flight.

Finally, i decided to go to Taman Tun Sardon's market place.

It turned out to be a good decision yet again. I guess, wherever you go i Penang, you can't hardly go wrong cos there are so many places that serves good food.

What i like about TTS market place is the eateries are so diversified and i bet it's one of the only place in Malaysia whereby you can have halal's chinese, indian and malay food under one roof. In those days, i used to come here with Rocky on Sunday mornings (yeahh.. because yg lain dok tidoq lagi...) just to enjoy the atmosphere and simply cheap good food. The place was buzzing with people and most of them are locals. It's good to see tat the economy is well supported by its own people. You'd to queue at almost all of the food counters.

Anyway, I wanted to order the capati.... queue was too long... (the beef keema is darn good)

I wanted to order the mee udang... queue was too long...

I wanted to order the soup gearbox... queue was too long...

I wanted to order the roti jala (Penang speciality).... queue was too long...

I wanted to order the popia (another must have)... queue was too long...

I wanted to order the apam manis.... queue was too long... but i had to queue and got it for son..

Surprisingly, the auntie's kueh tiaw stall has less people, thus, i ordered two plates of hot and spicy with extra shrimp.... though i was frustrated i didnt get Sany's but this kueh tiaw is one of the best too..

Look at the extra shrimp and extra hot chillies....

The kueh tiaw melts in your mouth...

Two very satisfied tourists....

I went scrruying around the stalls to see what else ive missed but it was more of feasting the eyes of the old time favourites as i was full already loaded with kueh tiaw, murtabak, apam manis, jelly and teh ais....

Finally, we left Penang as scheduled nad brought back good memories. We have planned to visit Penang once again towards the end of the year and maybe we could do out 1st PWC Northern Region gathering, kan? Picnic ker, seafood ker, ape2 jelahhh... Think about it guys...!!

THE END.
