TransDieHarry

This summer there are a lot of good and big budget movies being released for the moviegoers. I have been watching quite a few movies in the last two weeks. Never that i thot i would have these kind of opportunities to go to cinema since the birth of my son. However, this time my parents and in-laws were kind enough to provide us with some personal space and freedom to catch up with the box-office season. Here, a few opinions on the movies which i've watched.
Now, tell me..... whether this is Nando's or KFC? Extra Hot Peri Peri Chicken or Finger licking' good, y'all. She's hot like hell. She's a babe. Megan Phoxx really made it this time. Guys, go and watch her.... and the movie also larr. You'll drool all over her....

This movie brought back a lot of memories about the cartoon hit series. If you were born in the 70's, you'll be fed by a huge dosage of great cartoon productions like Voltron, Transformers, Thundercats, Smurf, X-Men and lots of others.

Anyway, Steven Spielberg and Michael Bay did a good job in bringing the cartoon characters to life. A good blend of jokes and great sci-fi animations will make you glued to your seat. It gives me shivers when Optimus Prime introduced himself in the movie using the original voice of the person whom had mesmerised us in the cartoon character voice over..!!!

However, i thought that Astro's version of transformers (a commercial ad where a few robots appeared from a spaceship started changing into a footballer, F-1 car and the tennis player) is much sleekier than the ones in the movie. Furthermore, Megatron looked more like a bunch of shiny and polished scrap metal put together to make into a robot that change into a F-22 jet fighter when his original version cartoon character was actually a gun..! Math Mute did badly in the OST too. I hardly heard the addictive tune of the "Transformers.... more than meets the eye.."

Anyway, forget about sensible plots and twisted tale as this movie has none of it. Those who have not gone and watch it, go and watch it. Watching a DVD version will not give you the same kind of sensation when the Autobots and Decepticons transform into robots and back to its machines form. Just enjoy it as the movie is not short of entertainment and fascinate yourself with fantastic CGI work from a great film production crew. Kik.. kuk.. kuk.. kik.. kuk...

Next, is this adrenalin rush and action packed thriller movie starred by non-other than one of my favourite actor, the enigmatic Bruce Willis, a street cop who'd always been involved and engaged in unlucky situations that dragged him around town by a self-centred, clever, precision like executions and greedy opponent. The brash, egoistic and manly man character suits Bruce very well and the way the story unfolds with lil' information about the next plot makes you crave for more actions. If you're a YippeeKaeyYae fan.... this is the movie for you. You won't regret. Story-wise, i think its far better than Transformers.
The chic in the movie is a newcomer, Maggie Q who'd left a good impression about her role as the sidekick-cum-girlfriend to Gabriel (the villain). She's quite hot and hopefully she will get more chances to act in Hollywood movies.

Finally, yesterday, i was in the office when one of my school mates called and told me that he's taking a half-day leave from work just to watch Harry Potter : Order of the Phoenix. I was reluctant initially but due to him persisting me to join him and willing to pay for the tix too, it's an offer i couldn't resist. I told my boss that i have an emergency to attend and disappeared from office to watch the movie in KLCC. When i got to the cinema, unsurprisingly, ramai gile orang dok beratoq beli tiket and beratoq nak masuk panggung eventhough the show is at 310pm. Half of the audiences were wearing office attire..!!! Hahaha...

Anyway, i find a bit disappointed with the movie. First of all, it's short compared to the other HP's installments. 2 hours to be exact. Secondly, I am not a HP book reader but i think a lot of details has been taken out from the plot. My sister confirmed this with me as the were a lot of scenes which i can't correlate with the previous installments and make sense out of some actions in the movie. Thirdly, there were less magical type scenes other than the last part where Harry and Dumbledore went head-to-head with Voldermort. Overall, the movie fell below my expectation and if you are not a Daniel Radcliff's fan, dont bother watching it. It is more fit to HP hard core fans who'd like to enjoy watching the book characters coming to life and for the sake of completing the series. If you havent watch the earlier installments, you'll be at lost. Petrificus Totalus..!!!

Cheers....

tranformers - AWESOME!

die hard 4.0 - super duper awesome!

harry potter - hoi tak aci ar suruh org jangan tgk! ada ke utk peminat daniel radcliffe je. tapi dia terer ar berlakon dalam citer ni (especially part voldemort posses dia last2 tu). this is the best harry potter movie (after movie no 3, azkaban), me thinks. dia byk emo la... for those yang tak baca buku.. citer ni tunjuk the dark side of harry's world.. it's not all about flying brooms and every flavoured candy imaginable...ni mcm.. what harry has to face since he who must not be named dah muncul.. people think dia giler, attention seeker.. tapi only dia yang tau.. dia jugak yang susah nanti ekekeke.. if i were a non reader, this movie will prompt me to pick up the book and read (if interested nak tahu la) hehehe.. ok la.. enter frame lak.. STUPEFY!
