Peaceful ritual

There were many volunteers who had turned up to lend a hand in the Qurban do. Kids were the happiest lot as they get first-hand experience by being close to the real action. It's good to expose them from young and feed their curiosity with real-life practical examples.

One of the lucky eight cows that were gonna be slaughtered later. Islam teachings said that it's a dream for every cow to leave the world by way of Qurban. They will be fed with plain water moments before they were slaughtered.
A hole must be digged under the cattle throat's to cup the blood soon after it was slaughtered fpr hygienic reasons. Banana leaf is used to cover the blood spurt during the slithering process.
Volunteers deskinning the carcass.

The deskinning is a team effort which foster good working relationship and promote camaraderie amongst community members.

The inner organs were being detached from its gut.

Fresh meat ready for the butcher to cut into smaller pieces and distributed to the unfortunates.
